exterior door panel reattachment *PART NUMBER ADDED*

I was on a road trip when I noticed my drivers side rear door exterior body panel was flapping in the wind, so I pulled it off so as not to lose it. I was going to peel off all of the old two-sided foam tape and get some 3M mounting tape to replace it, I only have one broken clip, debating on whether or not to replace it or to just move one from a less sensitive location and run with one missing. Does that sound like the way to go?

I'd suggest getting the correct clip.

Do it right the first time, so it doesn't have to be done again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Finally got around to putting the panel back on. As for the retaining clips that help hold it onto the door, I checked mitsu and they were stupid expensive and sold on a per clip basis. Plus they are on short supply (just like everything else) so I checked napa.

P/N 665-3282. $4.99 + tax, 12 to a bag.

They aren't exactly the same, but they are really close. And they work perfectly.
