evo rear diff into a 3bolt

thanks to this how to tread click i know the evo diff drops into the 4 bolt with minimal work but can a 3 bolt take the same diff?

They're the same basic housing but you still need the 4 bolt axles. I can't remember how many of the axle/oil seals and bearings are different though.

If I can get my hands on a diff ill be finding out if it'll work. I'd like to keep the aws system so if I can strengthen the rear while still keeping aws that'd be great. If not its going in the talons 4 bolt. I'll try and keep this updated but I need some diff guts first.
