Found it on my board when I replace it

Looks like a hack job circuit repair. I would assume a few of the circuits on the board were damaged, and you're looking at the solution. I could be wrong though. Did that ECU work?

The wires used to repair your ecu are not likely the cause of your surge.

I actually replaced it due to the fps not working...
