Software Upgraded - Reset Your Password to Login
In order to log in after the forum software change, you need to reset your password. If you don't have access to the email address you used to register your GVR4.org account, you won't be able to reset your password. In that case, follow the instructions here to regain access to the forum.
They're fine. However, i had a bad habit of ejecting the springs and destroying the hubs on 6 puck sprung. I prefer a solid hub, but that also comes with its own set of issues. They're noisy, the splines wear out, it's hard on the Tcase input splines... you just have to pick your poison, i guess.
I thought that that was the old act design combined with improper installation that caused the spring chucking? Given how many people I know who've run ACT's without issue, and my own experience... etc.
I loved my 2600 with street disc, but I had the dowel pins and all four bolts for the transmission, which is apparently news to 90% of people /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roll.gif
That said, I have a clutchmasters FX400 with a sprung 6 puck in the 1g and it holds all the power that car will ever throw at it. A bit of chatter on decel like every other puck clutch I've ever driven though. Street disc is definitely a nicer driver.
