Going good, I ran into a minor setback with a missing dowel pin, but I eventually got one. Now my friend is tempting me to spend even more money with two gigantic turbo's he has, offering to use on my car, a Turbonetics GTK and some huge PTE, and I was like man I really don't have the money, then he was like it's ok you can just pay me back after you get back from the shootout, they are both his turbos so I'm curious to see if he's gonna just put my EVO III back on there or surprise me with an entire different setup. Either way I'll be happy. I won't be able to doing any WOT tuning till I get back home though.

I don't know why I haven't checked in here yet, but there's a pack of us leaving from Jacksonville, FL. We normally fly, and we took both DSM's a few years ago, but unfortunately #924 isn't ready to hit the road. So we'll be taking a good ol' fashion rental unless this limo thing goes through. We'll see.

Hope to see a few of you guys up there reppin' since this will most likely be the last time I will be going myself. We'll be at the Best Western next to the Econo Lodge.

I dont know who you are but i always like to meet fellow GVR4 owners, After i arrive in town and get all unpacked at the hotel i'll most likely go drive around and see who all is where. I'll be staying at the All American Inn, so if you see this car, come by and say hi. =)

Cheers
Mike

Looks like ANOTHER friend flaked out right at the last minute lol dontcha just love how they do that. So because of this I will now making this 22+ hour drive alone, wish me luck. Also I originally had room with two beds booked and it's too late to change that now so if anyone wants to split that your more then welcome to. Either way I'm still gonna stay in the room.

So I washed the VR4 and filler her up with gas. Guess what?..she broke. The TOB ate itself so this weekend I replaced the clutch. Went with a Exedy stage 2 because we used it in the One Lap Evo X. So far its holding 26psi with no break-in. Hoping to get it closer to 30psi by the shootout but we'll see how the clutch holds up this week.

I am doing the Maxeffort class. Do we sign up Saturday morning as we enter the track?

It's 648am and we did all the welding that needed to be done, now all is left is fluids, radiator, fans, setting up the link, and putting the front bumper back on, been awake all night, and don't think we have the energy to finish right now. Prob gonna finish it later on today.

I am finishing mine up today too, and hopefully starting it tonight. I pray for no leaks. I've never owned a 4G63 powered car that didn't leak from somewhere. That's my number one goal.

Just discovered that the Stupid fluidampr requires me to use a slightly larger belt so I just threw the old OEM pulley back on, I'm REALLY behind on time here, now all of a sudden the oil feed I have isn't the correct one, the 35R feed requires a very specific one which I don't have, also due to this setup I now have to run a half sized radiator, this is becoming such a headache...

A buddy of mine found a nice lil aluminum civic radiator, now I just gotta figure out how I'm gonna come up with a hose that wil fit onto the radiator's tiny outlets to the VR4's bigger ones.

Well,, looks like Im not going to the shootout this year.. It's midnight on Wednesday night and the car has all sorts of dam problems with the new motor and setup, this sucks man.. It was exciting to see and hear it Start up but depressing as hell knowing that I can't make it this year for the 20th anniversary. Have fun guys.
