2.4 g4cs/4g64 with 4g63 cam gears Marking

Hope this helps for those that will built 2.4l in the future using 4g63 cams.

 

Is this just for aem cam gears or any 2.0 cams on a 2.4 block?

 

Any 2.0 cam gears.

 

so you turn one clock wise one tooth and the other counter clock wise a tooth...

 

Did you actually go and degree the cams, or is that just what ran best at 0* offset on the cam gears? Also did you have the head milled or the block decked?

Just confirming that I too have recieved the exact same marks with a G4CS block, .051" cometic gasket with the block and head milled only slightly...

It's actually a "half a tooth". Observe the pics closely
