For what it’s worth you can remotely register any car in Montana with permanent registration. Super cars do it all the time up here in case you ever see a lambo with Montana plates that’s why. Might be able to get you around the back tags 🤷🏼‍♂ Just a thought

Yes they are usually flexible.. and cracked. You can get prothane (CLICK) Inserts for them to strengthen them and especially if you have the motor out you’ll want to do something. You will hear people say this increases cabin vibrations.Some people just fill them with window weld as well.

You'll also want to check the link i posted in the most recent reply on that thread which has additional information. Sounds like you need to match your ratios while either modifying or replacing the transmission and/or transfer case.
