  4. how much boost?

    i would turn it down to like 10 psi until you can get a WB and get it sorted out. be carefull.
  5. intercooler suggestions

    if your setup isn't going to be too crazy, i would definatly opt for an an oem evo core,srt4 core or a good used brand name one. the ebay cores aren't bad imho at least on low hp aplications. I have a old school starion core with modded endtanks and it works fine for my small 16g.my 2.

    i have a 180 deegree in mine, and didn't notice a difference in mpg either. with this florida heat coming up, if your gonna be beating up on it, a 170 deegree thermostat might not be a bad idea.

    Mine had the same problem and it turned out to be a nice sized crack around th wastegate flapper. at first it would boost fine for a couple months, then it started getting laggier and laggier.pulled the 02 housing and saw the crack. threw a another small 1g in it and bye bye lag.

    replace the fan switch. it's on the lower part of the radiator. Your fans first speed isn't turning on. I've already delt with this on my 1g and my vr4. your fan should be turning on at about 196 degrees.

    turning down the boost is definatly a good idea. is the thermostat opening right? I get new thermostat at the shop that fail new all the time ? did you do a pressure test on the cooling system? has the timing beeen triple checked? a/f ratios? justt throwing ideasout there?
