  1. Evo swapped vr4

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for, didn't realize there was that much difference in the platforms.
  2. Evo swapped vr4

Here was the idea guys. I want a 400-450 awhp car that drives like stock and I don't have worry about. Yes the engine can handle that nearly stock or with a few diff parts but not the transmission and transfer case. Yes I know I can get them built for fairly cheap, but I don't want a dog boxed...
  3. Evo swapped vr4

I have a 92 gvr4 with almost 200k on the clock. I found a 2003 Evo 8 that's totaled for cheap tossing around the idea of a full swap. Drive train suspension brakes. Electronics everything. What do you guys think? Ability is not a problem just wondering what I might get myself into. Tried...

  6. New clutch, won't disengage now

Disregard last post. Did the adjustments. Had to go almost all the way in before I blocked the bleeder inside the master and could not push in the slave. Threaded it back out until I could push the slave in and it was 10 times worse. Clutch pedal was phyisically an inch off the floor and I...
  7. New clutch, won't disengage now

Ok I adjusted the master cyl rod today. I have this thing all the way out and it didn't make any difference. Also I can push the slave in by hand like the bypass bleeder is not blocked. Bad master?
  8. New clutch, won't disengage now

Old clutch was worn out slipping ect. replaced clutch with an oem replacement. Had the flywheel machined with steps by a place that machines flywheels on big trucks. ( stepped clutches are common on big trucks). After install had no clutch pedal. Didn't undo any lines ect. Bleed the system new...
  9. Car runs rough with MAF plugged in (a known good MAF)

It has to be mass air related. As stated before it could be a connection issue. Check the pins make sure they are not loose. My guess would be its not the correct mass air for the injectors.
  10. WTB: left rear caliper

I need a complete left rear caliper with the e brake bracket. Someone installed the wrong caliper and had to remove the ebrake bracket to make it work. I would also take just the bracket thanks. Email me at [email protected]
  11. Idle issue

Hey guys newb here in need of some help. Recently bought my stock 200k #1058. Recently Ive been having some idle serge issues it started out only when the clutch was engaged and then progressed to any time at idle. So today I did some digging figuring I'd find a vacuum leak and i did. On the...
  12. Curtting springs.

How much will the Evo springs drop it with a stock replacement strut? Email me [email protected].
  13. Curtting springs.

Screw it I'm going to try it. Anyone have a pair of stock springs they want to donate incase this doesn't work out? Lol
  14. Curtting springs.

So no one had done this on stock suspension? Not even tried it? I just want to get rid of the rake.I'm on a budget. I just got the car and it needs struts bad. So I was hoping I could so this while I was changing struts for cheep. I've looked bad can't find any used sprigs and from what...
  15. Curtting springs.

I've cut springs on so many cars I cannot keep track. An you are right... To a point. But if its done mildly there is very minimal noticable difference.I'm not talking about slamming the car but only leveling out the rear. I know one of you have done this.
