344/1000 is enjoying some snow-drifting...was down for 2 weeks waiting for a new FPR diaphragm-that was fun troubleshooting. How I love my Galant VR4. She gives such smiles at 20 plus psi 😉 hoping to get her back on E85 this Spring and crush some 12's at Mile high.

1102/2000. Been stripped down for some needed TLC. Poor vehicle was sitting in the back of some property under a tarp for the last 7-8 years. Wanted to keep it original as much as possible but it looks like it'll be a small resto' mod build.71796787833__C5DD42D6-133B-4293-869F-988026D7F874 (1).jpg

I know we have a registry, but I've always wondered how many are actually drivable.

I know it's impossible to get an accurate count, but please report if you have a Galant that is ready to drive, or built for race only, but still drivable.

347/1000 is currently a modded street car only and drivable.
247/1000 is a daily driver in Victoria B.C.

555/1000 is "almost" drivable again. Nothing was wrong with it, but i tore it apart to install a new FMIC many, many months ago, then that turned into "may as well get a morrison manifold" which prompted needing a new turbine housing, which then turned into "ooh, a black friday sale and Gen2 GTX3076r is only $1089? yes please" Which has now turned into updating all my lines and fittings for water and oil, fabricating a new downpipe, changing flanges throughout the exhaust...
The list keeps getting longer.

It always cost twice as much and takes twice as long....

Not driven mine on the street since August of 2023 maybe. It ran out of gas the other day in the driveway while idling and I have not touched it since lol. Needs an oil change too. Sad. At this point, I just want to resist the urge of selling it so my son can get a little older so I can get him to tinker with it.
