More work done!

Twin plate discs swapped over for thinner ones.
The previous discs were XTREME discs which were not the designed discs to go into this twinplate setup. They were 8mm thick whereas the Direct Clutch discs were 6mm. Changing the discs over actually changed the noise when on the clutch (quieter now) and also stopped the 1st gear crunch which I'm guessing was caused by clutch drag.

I also pulled out the stock 2 spider setup while the box was out and installed the TRE centre spool.
This takes out one weaklink in the stock VR4 box.

Exhaust before:

Exhaust after:

Playing with the exhaust (muffler / vbands etc etc) outside of Springy Motors

The boys playing with the Harley (missfiring V-2)

I took the car for a quick rinse at the local car wash.

Next step:
Install 780cc RC injectors
Tune on 20psi

Complete sound system install

Sweet car man, really freaking clean. But come on, tune for only 20psi? Turn that up to at least 25+... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif

My brother took the car out and managed a flat 14 second pass...lol

The thing was wheelspinning all the way down the track.
It ran a 14 @ 111mph with a 2.8 60 ft time.
Still on street tires and poor suspension settings (forgot to play with the suspension because the vr4 broke)

Hopefully will have it out again sometime and aim to get into the 12's at least.
It is making 277kw's at the front wheels with 20 psi of boost.

THATS SO GROSS! DAMN YOU AUSSIES!!! jk tho seriously do you all have money there or what? lol... gorgeous car.

awesome looking car, but im confused....Is this fail wheel drive? Tire spin is a funny thing to talk about on this forum, and 12's on a built motor and a 30r dont really make sense?
