Fuel gauge doesn't work

rewired the fuel pump, now I can't figure out which wire goes where.
Help?

It would be on the bottom of the lid to the sending unit, where you have two brass studs. It's probably either you twisted the float arm or the you broke the wire itself/left loose/unhooked...

I just fixed my OE unit with #65 the other day...

Does it matter which wire goes where? There is a black with white stripe and yellow with blue stripe.

Yes, one wire coming off the float goes to one post which relays to the proper control,the other would be low voltage, I would almost bet that your low level light wouldn't come on either.

Switch the wires and see what happens. Also make sure the float arm didn't bind on the hanger. That could cause issue as well
