what goes here on trans case?

Can you tell me what attaches to this threaded hole in top of trans in area between reverse switch and mount? I can't recall.

Nothing, it's just an extra threaded hole.

^Yeah, I checked my W5M31 too and it doesn't even have that threaded hole, its just flush with the surrounding casting. Wonder what it was originally there for, looks a lot like just a third hole for a revised tranny mount.
