The large snap ring on the front wheel bearings doesn't even have any holes in it. What tools do you guys use to get the snap ring out? Is there a particular set of snap ring pliers that actually work, because none of the ones I have are big enough.

I used a pair of needlenosed plyers The manual shows to use a regular pair of plyers.

Reat the plyers into the grooves and squeeze. Be ready with a small flat head screwdriver or pick.

Yup, already tried them. I've done a few in the past using large needle nose before, but these just keep slipping out! Any other ideas?

I have used screwdrivers before. Once you get the ring started, you just put the other screwdriver in next to it and work your way around until it comes out.

Take a small drill bit and put a hole in it and use a pick to pry it out. Or do two hles and use snap ring plyers.

You don't have to worry aboy metal filing becuase your replacing the ild junk.

I just use the Mitsubishi pliers that come in the complete set of Mitsubishi Speciality tools. Sorry, it probably doesn't help, but it made me feel better for owning these damn things.

I ended up having to buy a set of these and drilling two small holes in the snap ring for removal. The snap ring pliers worked awesome!
