Rebuild or swap?

What is the cost of rebuilding a head? I need a list of parts also if possible... This is my first project car that I had to rebuild the motor from the bottom up....

Any damage done already? Standard is just having the valves lapped and valve stem seals replaced along with measurements to ensure the head is not warped. If valves have hit pistons, you'll need them. Springs are usually fine unless you're upgrading to huge cams. Price depends on local biz or known shop that will ship the head back out to you.

Thanks! Well yeah the valves hit the pistons and I have to rebuild the head also replace the pistons. Also I was wondering if it would be easier just to buy a new complete swap and not do a rebuild, would I be saving money? The initial plan was to rebuild the current 6 bolt motor from the bottom up with new stuff but then I thought maybe it would be cheaper to buy a swap cause right now I just want the car to run and get me to work and back but be reliable without spending a large lump of cash now.
