question on rear hubs

do the rear hubs on a vr4 press in or are they held in with the nut to the axle cup?

Nut, but it wont just fall out. Once you take the nut off, remove the cup. Thread the nut back on a few threads and then use a dead-blow hammer. A few taps and it should slide out. Once you have it moving, remove nut and tap the rest of the way out.
