Power steering issue

Well the problem is during idle, my power steering is hard to turn but when I rev it a little it gets easier. What wrong with this? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Do you have a power steering fluid leak anywhere? It's also possible one of the pressure valves inside the pump itself is stuck, happened to me once after doing donuts.

No leaks anywhere. Did you have to change the actual pump?

Thats what I did. You might be able to get by with just removing the stud that the valve sit in and replacing/cleaning that.
