power steering hard lines

where can i buy new power steering hard line they are 5/16 line with a 14mm 1.5 nut with o ring flare on end. just should be and oem part but i cant find anywhere. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

He means the 2WS line that goes from the area of the spline where the steering u joint hooks up over to the other side of the rack. It looks like earls makes an adapter from the M14 1.5 o-ring fitting to -6 line and we could use SS braided line. Has anyone done this? What is the pressure on that line?

They are still available. If they are not in stock in the US, they may take a while to get. I replaced two or three of mine last summer.

This question has been coming up a lot in the last few months. It seems to be time for those lines to expire.

these are part # of the hardlines on the steering rack. these are the hardlines coming from the steering column going to the passenger side of the steering rack.

got from JNZ tuing.

finally i got the lines off and the new lines are on the way. it sucked!!!!!!!!!!! i never want to do it again if i would have know it was going to be this bad i would have taken it to the dealership and gotten a quote for them to do it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
