Hey guys,

I just thought I'd share a graph I compiled at Springy Motors today.

Quite interesting to see different setups in action on the dyno.

All runs are done in 4th gear.

bazeng = vr4 rs gearbox / GT3082 / 2.3L / Autronic SM4
fq400 = evo 8 gearbox / GT3582 / 2.3L / Link G3
s5eta = evo 6 gearbox / 20g / 2.4L / Autronic SMD
g5r5ol = lancer gsr gearbox fp3065? / 2.0L / Autronic SM4

98 pump fuel
Street driven
Cam selection for all vehicles, not sure!

bazeng has a custom spec 272/272 type cam.
g5r5ol has kelford 272/272 cams.


The 2.4L with the 20g is pretty cool. Full boost from the very start. You can pretty much sit in 5th gear @ 2000rpm and WOT it with full boost instantly!
g5r5ol is also a stock bottom end motor which is quite impressive!.

Boost is the dotted line (in FQ400's case, its the smoother line)

FQ400 is the only car with an aftermarket intake manifold.
g5r5ol and bazeng both used the same extrude honed ECI multi intake manifold.

1 horsepower [international] = 0.745 699 87 kilowatt

All power on the graph is all wheel kw's.



100 horsepower [international] = 74.569 987 kilowatt
200 horsepower [international] = 149.139 974 kilowatt
300 horsepower [international] = 223.709 961 kilowatt
400 horsepower [international] = 298.279 948 kilowatt
500 horsepower [international] = 372.849 935 kilowatt

s15eta seams to spool alot faster than the rest of you. I'm assuming that's because of his 20g? I'm digging his flat torque curve.

That is the boost pressure, not the torque reading.

That can't be. You're saying the others didn't reach full boost till almost 130km/h (give or take a little)?

Why would you select km/h on the bottom of the graph? don't they usually select HP, boost and rpm?
I've never seen km/h or miles selected.
