Anyone ever fitted an aftermarket pedal set to the VR4? My pedals are worn through to the metal and the aftermarket pedals I was using are cheap and poorly secured. To be honest I think they are dangerous.
I'm looking to get some simple functional metal pedal covers and drill the OEM pedals to secure them properly. I was looking at the SRP pedals and like the Grid and Block designs.
The top ones are the Grid design for a Corolla AE86 and the bottom ones are the Block design for a CTS (is that a Cadillac?)
There are no GVR4 specific pedals, so I need to find something for another car that is compatible in terms of size. I don't think installation will be an issue as long as the OEM pedals are wide enough for the hole placement. I was just wondering if anyone had used pedals for any particular car with any success, or is it just a case of measuring the OEM pedals and asking SRP what they have in that sort of size? They have pedals supposedly for the EVO II, are those likely to be close in size?
Paul.
