Alright guys, in about a month im going to send my gvr-4 to the body shop to get some work done. I'm thinking for the paint job either the same Nile black or flat black with a clear coat. Opions?

I don't think flat black is flat with clear coat.
Try and look up semi gloss flat black.
It may just be what you're looking for.

Actually, there is such thing as a base/clear flat/matte/semi gloss.

Its the best way to approach flat colors. Its the same system, including regular base coat, with a flat clear..

The clear will have UV protection, and wont chalk up like single stage/primer.

But, you still cant buff it.

We use the clears at work every once in a while to match factory stuff..

And back on topic, I just dont know if the G has the curves to make a matte color shine.

two threads above yours.....
