Old WRC GVR4 photos

Bishop, have you got a decent quality digital camera? I know it's probably not ideal, but you could just take photos of the images, trim them up with photoshop (or something similar....they may not even need it) and upload them.

Just a thought /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.....

That's an idea, borat. I have a digital SLR camera that might work if I can keep the books opened up with the pages flat...

That looks like ONE DEAD CHICKEN! I don't think I'd want to catch that much air (the one that looks like six feet next to another jumper) either...headache..from roof, even with a helmet.

anyone else find this one particularly amazing?

This car was purchased by a rallyist named Mustafa and is currently being used as a rally car again! On a side note he got the car for about $1500 because he cought the former owner "bidding him up" and ebay pulled all the scam bids.

Does anybody know what happened to this one:

It was on eBay 1/6/04 by autoauctionofutah with the reserve of $3000 met last I had record of. Did anyone on the forum end up with it?

I have the Ralli///Art yearbooks for 89, 90, 91, and 92 and they have some awesome photographs of our beloved GVR4s in WRC action. Trouble is, the books are 11 X 14 and I do not have access to a large flatbed scanner to get some hi-res scans to share. Anybody have any ideas?

If this is the car I think it is (only one guy I ever met named Moose/Mustafa) it was driven in the Precott rally on the 2nd and was out on the first day with charging problems. We worked most the night to try and solve them with no luck.
