I knew I could not stay away for long. Sold my EVO X back in 2017. A good friend sold me his Galant GTi with a 4G63T conversion in Manila so now I need to converse with like minded car people. Excited

Hi, I have arrived from the DSMTuners forums where I've been a member since 2007, and my current project is my 1991 Eclipse "GSR-4". Part of my build involves the mythical VR4 Cyclone Intake manifold, which it being 30 years old, could use new gaskets; especially when my 20g is going to be pushing 25psi through it. Since I cannot buy them, I had the idea to have them made. I have the designs ready to send off and make; but would like feedback from the community on 2 things: demand and material. Part of the reason I am here is to provide a service to the VR4 and DSM communities by offering a part that hasn't been available in over 20 years.

Hello! I just drove 1410 in from the delivery truck (had to have her shipped). New to Gvr4, not to Galants. I drove an 89 though high school and college. Loved the car and have been wanting a vr4 for years. Not new to working on cars, but I'll be asking tons of question because 1410 needs work. Fist thing was up on the lift to catalog what needed to be done.

That car has been passed around so much In The past 2 years. I hope you keep it.
Not much has changed car since original
Owner sold it and built it 15 years ago.
Other than some one add big radio screen and coilovers.

She has her permanent home. Needs quite a bit of TLC....
Rear pads and rotors (Done)
E Brake repair (Done)
Timing belt cover replaced (Done)
Dent interfering with right headlight in molding (Dent pulled, still need to sand and paint)
Right headlight bracket is damaged, but a strait one came with the car.
Coilovers need to be adjusted, but rusty and may be frozen (and replaced if that's the case)
Needs an alignment
Both half shafts up front have ruptured CV boots
Some of the turbo piping is dented pretty badly, have to figure out what to do with that.
Needs an oil catch can so she won't make a mess out of her self anymore.
Cold air box needs to be fabricated
Front bumper had the reinforcement cut out, hangs from the two corners were the mounting on the bumper was left intact. That caused the whole thing to warp. Fabricating a bracket/adding a mount + a little heat gun action to hopefully straighten it back out.
I'm sure I'll find more as I pull her apart, but I finally got a GVR4 so I'm Happy ;)
