Nice find mine, cool video. Tsukuba Circuit is acool track too.

I have one correction though: It's actually Keiichi Tsuchiya driving the Galant Wiki
I only point that out bc he's one of my favorite Japanese drivers.

What a pack of whales!
VR4 ~1370 kg
Legacy RS ~1290
Celica GT-Four ~1450

And sh*t boxes Mazda 323 (probably an interplay, rather than a GT-X) and Honda Accord/Integra 4 door I think?

Vs

Pulsar GTi-R ~1220 & ~230 BHP

And the GTi-R won? Not surprising when it has the best power to weight ratio /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Better dig up that video where the VR4 faces off against a JAZ70 Supra Turbo, R32 GT-R, FC3S RX-7 and one other car. It was all over before the first corner /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bawling.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

If anyone is interested in English translated Touge battles and current Best motoring with Tsuchiya, you should check out GTchannel on Youtube. I have spent days watching their libary, not to mention all the other great video's they have uploaded and they quality is great.

Accord? what video were you watching, it's a U12 attesa bluebird.

Wonder if they ran this back in '87 would've been pretty one sided with the vr4 against a bfmr familia and nowt else.

Really? A bluebird? Bugger me I couldn't pick it. I guess it could be the AWD CA18ET U12 then, which would mean the 323 is probably a GT-X hatch? Which seems like a more sensible/logical selection of cars to race!

yeah, pretty sure it's a GTX hatch, it still beat the celica didn't it?

I notice the GTiR started from the back of the grid and the vr4 in 2nd to last, so maybe if the vr4 started last it would've won? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
