I attended the Winged Warrior charity event for Riley's Children's Hospital this weekend.
Winged Warrior
The Drag Race was run by O'Reilly's Raceway Park and the Autocross by Miami Valley SCC, and were put on very well. Wish I could say the same for the overall event. Communication was poor, it was generally disorganized outside the individual events, and their placing system needs work (if you're in a tie for 2nd place, and lose it, you get nothing apparently. They had already handed out trophy's for positions they did know, then worked out the ties)
Car barely made it, it was literally up to the last minute getting ready. No time to tune or sort out any boost issues/leaks so was running stock boost pressure. I was slow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Best Drag Time:
60' - 2.17
ET - 15.56 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
Best in class was my buddy's Forrester running 12.7.
Autocross course was pretty open, and hard on the brakes.
Best time was 78.4
Best in class again was the Forrester, running 70.7
As for the car show, well. I'm pretty sure I was dead last. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
Had loads fun though, and showed me some of the car's weaknesses (as well as my own). I can't wait for the next events!
