Is a Evo engine swap on a Galant vr4 possible?

also it is an evo engine in these cars, evo 1, 2, 3. all the same drivetrain.

But Evo 1/2/3 are a 7 bolt engine. Engine and gearbox from Evo 1/2/3 mount differently to that of a 6 bolt from a GVR4. Definitely possible to install the Evo 1/2/3 engine/gearbox in a GVR4 though.

You could install a Evo 1-3 7 bolt in then just use the GVR4 trans, MX4. After all 1gb 93-94 DSMs were all 7 bolt as well.

Pretty sure it has the same case as a 2g trans and that case has provisions there to be able to mount the trans in a Galant or a DSM.

Evo 123 blocks, though 7 bolt, do not have the mount points for the front roll stopper on the block...
