/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gifNeed help. My brother have a galant gti (4g63 n/a) in the philippines. The engine is swap to a 4g63 turbo (rvr). The ecu of the 4g63 turbo(rvr) engine is a md312467 and not working properly. I have a spair ecu (md334789 also came form a 4g63 turbo rvr), Is it possible to plug in the ecu(md334789) with out any rewiring?

If you went from non turbo to turbo and the gti was not equipped with a knock sensor then you will have to add the wiring for that and a little change in the MAF too. Get the wiring form this site by using search and compare it to yours. Take your time and do it right and you'll be happy with the results. If your not comfortable with that see if you can get your hands on a turbo harness and just swap it out. Either way you will need a turbo computer to run the car correctly.
