intake manifold vacuum

I'm sorry if this is a simple question, but I searched and can't find it.
E on my intake manifold is a vacuum line that goes under the intake manifold and comes out on the right side of the engine bay and it's just hanging there plugged with a screw. I was wondering what that was suppose to attach too?

There's also a solenoid on my fire wall that's has a cut nozzle where the vacuum line would go but I'm assuming that's just an emissions thing. That's what I found at least.

A good tip is always check the Library for diagrams and what not. It actually has almost every answer, to almost ever question asked about the factory configuration.

Here is a link to the PDF about the vacuum system.

If you get a chance, click the Library link and have a look at what has accumulated over the years.

I looked at that, I was a little confused with the pictures but I guess that'll do. I was hoping for a quick answer, but either way.

Thanks.
