idle raise issue

some time the idle sticks, usually I go to start it and then at about 8-900rpm then after a few seconds it starts to raise and raise higher and higher until about 2500rpm and then it just stays there...any thoughts what could be the problem? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

 

Timing and BISS set properly? Boost/vacuum leaks? FIAV or ISC working properly?

 

Do you have a logger to check if the idle-closed switch is working?

 

You can check that with DMM also. IIRC 0 volts closed and 12 when open.
