help with driveshaft please

is there is a difference between the 1G awd driveshaft and the VR4 driveshaft?

The second section of the galant vr4 driveshaft is approximately 4" longer than a 1g awd dsm driveshaft.

The galant gsx driveshaft is a direct interchange, but they only made ~1000 of those so the total pool of available units isn't that deep.
