Great Article on Ignition and Timing

Just thought I'd share something I found:

Good find. Very interesting read.

 

Is the article about a 4 stroke engine or 2 stroke? In the 5th paragraph it says an engine at 1200 rpms has 600 power strokes. Wouldn't a 4 stroke engine only have 300 power strokes at 1200 rpms? Or am I missing something here?

Edit: nevermind. I thought about it some more. A revolution is a complete circle. One revolution is 2 strokes. Thus 600 power strokes at 1200 rpms. Duh to me.
