Fuel Pump Relay grease?

This is how my Fuel Pump Relay looks? What problems would this cause?

Is there a way to use a jumper and bypass it like with 3000GT VR4's?

The grease isn't a bad thing. It's a form of dielectric grease to keep moisture and crap out.
