FWIW I have two older Halmans that I bought new and they both look just like this. It's before he went to the "Evolution" design but after the style with the bleeder hole. It's just missing the plastic knob that used to be pressed on the SHCS. These things have great boost control. I recommend taking it apart and cleaning it up though as the ball can get nasty and sticky. A little WD-40 after re-assembly and you will be good to go.
