well shouldnt anything be fine, with even more safe room? the only difference is our very low compression.

So this may be a noob question especially since I am one..Im new to these cars and I have a 90 GSX motor in my 91 VR4 and my current ECU is F***** so i was wondering if this would be a workable replacement and how much is involved in running this and if i should just go with something more basic considering how new i am to this vehicle. i have a 16g big turbo, and almost 9k into the motor but none of the work done by me personally

Yes this is working replacement all you have to is literally plug and play. Honestly I think this(evo8ecu conversion) is a little bit more involved then ecmlink/dsmlink personally. Unfortunately it sold already otherwise I'd be able to sell it to you. Sorry and good luck. I do know of eprom ecu if you are interested.

This swap will work in the vr4 as long as you have the 4g63t mated with the knock sensor he's including .

if your 90 is the same as a dsm 90, theres a wire that needs to be switched around in the ecu harness and thats it.
