Hi Guys,

Anybody have a long rod 2.4L?
What do you rev to?

I have a 100mm crank with 156mm rods.
Manley turbo tuff rods
Old school Eagle crank
Custom Melbourne made pistons

I'm thinking of taking it to the 9k rpm range.
Is this safe?

Max so far is 7500rpm.

Advice?

The rod ratio isn't much better than a 2.3 Barry.
Magnus recommends 8500 for that combo.
Although I think Nelson revs his stroker to 9000 or so?

Why don't you destroke it to a 2.2 and use 159mm rods?
