Evo 8/9 Steering wheel ?

I've searched and couldn't find a straight answer. I have the possibility of buying a evo9 steering wheel that has been made to work on a 2g. The seller says 1g/2g/gvr4 steering wheels are interchangeable but I'm not sure on that, since I see different aftermarket hubs are made for each gen/platform. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

The splines are the same but the horn/airbag setups are different between a 2g and the 1g/GVR4.

Okay, not worried about the air bag as I wont be using one. Just needed to see if it would bolt up between 1g and 2g. Thanks!

Will the horn be an issue? On a 1g/GVR4 there is a ring on the back of the wheel that makes contact, this allows the horn to work. It's different on a 2g because of that piece for the airbag. Is it possible for him to get you some pics of the backside of the adapter?

It will likely require rigging of some kind for the horn. I run 3g Eclipse wheels on my 2 GVR4s and I had to make a ring and spring contact to make it work. Actually did one car, never did the other.
