I was reading up on VFAQ about filling the hanger bearings with silicone to eliminate the driveline "thump". In the article it's mentioned to use a fast drying silicone to fill the hangers. I was wondering, is silicone best or would window weld work better? I'm just wondering if silicone would actually fill and harden the hangers enough to make a difference.

Thanks guys

I just did it with window weld and it seems to have worked great. put it in warm and let it cure over night.

That's the problem, I need a "quick" fix. I don't have another car so and I work weird days so I can't afford to have her down overnight.

I'm sure 10-12 hours would do it. I just gave it 20+ to be sure. You could try less cure time. Just can't gaurantee the results for ya.
