Does anyone know what this part is?

The previous owner gave me this with the vehicle and I believe that it has something to do with the ETS intercooler.

I want to sell it if possible since he advised it wasn't necessary.

Does anyone know what on earth this is?

Looks like an ETS intake pipe that adheres to the route path of the stock GVR4 intake.
