cutch question

Ok, So we removed the cutch today and it looks great the lead teacher thought it looked so good he sent the new one back. But the fly wheel has some issues so he sent it to get machined down still within specs but could that have caused it to slip. He said the clutch was great and no probs. I spoke to him later and he said if it still slips after he tries this he will pull the tranny and replace the cutch. I'm asking if the flywheel will make it slip. The pressure plate is good the clutch springs are good the only ting that is bad is the flywheels. Wich is a stepd flywheel wich he said will be ighter after than it was before. Now remember this guy is an A.S.E. master tech so that means not only has he passed every a.s.e. test he has the experience in the field.

What's the question? Yes, a warped flywheel could cause clutch grabbing issues.

It is very hard to read your post and to understand what you're trying to say.

Remember that the friction disk doesn't tell the whole story. Pressure plates have a tendency to warp which makes them deeper toward the center than the outside. Put a straight edge across it and make sure that it is even the whole way across. If it's more than about 1mm deeper at the inner radius then I wouldn't reuse it.
