Does anyone know if they are FIA certified? I'm looking at these seats but not sure if they're certified click .

It's for my race car and I would like to have the seat be able to move if needed. My understanding is if you don't have a FIA seat you have to have the back of the seat with the cage since the backs aren't renforced enough. I don't wnat to have to re-weld part of the cage if I want to move the seat. If I'm wrong about this please let me know.

Last I heard, Corbeau lost their FIA certification. Sounds like you need to get in touch with a scrutineer for whatever type of racing you're looking to do. I know I either run FIA-certified seats in the Galant or I don't rally. Period. I've never heard anything about supplemental cage structure to reinforce the seats.

Personally, I've had my eye on either Cobra or OMP from Subé Sports. Sparco/Momo are seriously overpriced. (Bonus: Subé clearly lists seats that are FIA-certified.)

This is a purchase I'm looking forward to making. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" />

I put a set in my old gvr4. Not FIA. For race car, you want sparco or momo.

or Recaro.

Ok so I'm between these two seats. The EVO and the TECH by SPARCO. What is the difference between the two? $300 is a big jump.
