A good angle grinder will chop it up like butter, that is what I used, just take your time and be careful. Also, I wouldn't recommend the liberal use of Gus, it can get caught in your muffler bearings. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hsugh.gif

Same as Muskrat. Used a Sawz All and a electric die grinder with a cutoff wheel. Cut the boxed center section out and trimmed the support to clear the intercooler. My goal was to just remove enough material to allow the intercooler to fit, and also to try and preserve as much of the structural integrity of the bumper support as possible. I've seen some cars with really hacked supports, and they look like crap after awhile. After that, I dressed the rough edges with a file and the die grinder. Then I painted the bare metal with self etching primer and a few coats of semi gloss black. Almost looks OEM.
