I was wondering what are my options for replacing a rusty front bumper support? I was checking around my intercooler area when my hand hit the bumper support and it literally started crumbling away. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif. I plan to take the bumper off to asses how bad it is when I have the time in two weeks. I might even tackle the rear bumper one time too.

I welded brackets on mine. The fender supports were so thin on mine I cut them off and made new one's with some thicker sheet metal probably your best bet

Yeah I am going to pull the bumper off and start derusting the whole entire car one time. I am going to see how bad it is and see if my welder will help me out.
