bike racks

Has anyone put one of those truck mounted bike racks on their car, that fits over the spoiler? I have a roof rack but I hate to put bikes up there. Mostly laziness, but also don't want to risk damaging my car.

Its all about that upper body strength. That I don't have. Just don't want to scratch my car or get mud and dirt/rocks all over it.

I'll have to check my shed, but I used to have a Thule one that I used on the back of 1051. We're talking 1999 or so. I hauled an old K2 Shadrach around with it.
