Does that designate the rear end as a 4.93 and 5.xx for non 4ws? I can't read the brochure. That would be wicked.

4.933 = 3.545 rear-end (what we have)
5.443 = 3.909 rear-end (evo ratio)

If you can make out the numbers on the brochure above 4.933 and 5.443 you can see the close ratio gears for the evo ratio. I'm not sure if any of that has to do with the 4WS.

E38A = 2WS
E39A = 4WS

Doesnt designate engine, that comes in the model code SNPF or summat, we had 2L 8v E38s and E39s and a 2L 16v 4WS, but no turbo in europe, just LHD VR-4 RS, for rally teams, officially brought over.
