2g knock sensor?

Can I put a 2g knock sensor into my car?
What is the difference between 1g and 2g knock sensors??

Yes if you have a aem ems, no if you have a stock ecu.

Nope stock ECU with ECMlink V3, just curious because I need a new one and found a 2g one local for cheap. Guess I will keep looking.
