Replaced the caps. Ran the board in my car and it seems to be just fine. I can't take it for a test drive because the car is not road worthy.

I did rev it to 5000 and the check engine light never came on.

I will meter the knock output but everything looks good right now in my car with my Keydiver chip. (shameless Keydiver - DSMchips.com plug /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

So, is it common that the Cap gets installed backwards???

No. Usually when an electrolitic cap is installed backwards it blows up. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Ok so still have the same issue. 5.83v at the pin on the ECU.

I have a headache! I dont know what it up with this thing. I am going to install this ECU into another car and see if the code comes up and if it does, it would clearly mean an ECU issue! I thought I had this fixed but I guess not.
