2.0 liter engine?

just want to know where do we get the measurement of the engine if it is a 2.0L, 1.6L etc (piston size)?? where do you get the liter measurement inside the engine? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Volumetric displacement taken from the bore and stroke then multipled by the number of cylinders.

Simple maths really.

bore=85mm
stroke=88mm

4*3.14*(8.5cm)^2*8.8cm = 1998cc ~= 2.0L
