91 VR4 starts briefly and then dies. Car is mostly stock, and has repaired ecu
I have not messed with my VR4 in a couple years, but need to get it running properly again. Had the ecu repaired, as it had cap leakage issues. Now, even when swapping with a known good ecu, the car will fire right up, but then die in a few seconds. I am thinking that the fuel shuts off, or...- ou812

Grey 1991 VR4 in local u-pull it yard.....what should I try to get?
Hey all....went to the local u-pull it yard last Saturday, and lo and behold....a 1991 Galant VR4. The dash plaque was gone, so I do not know the number of the car. They must have just gotten it, as very little has been removed from the car. It looked like a passenger side guardrail type...- ou812

Hey all, New on this board, but not to vr4's and dsms. I know the entire story about changing the capacitors in the ecu's, but my Galant has a pretty serious burn in the board, and one of the other components has apparently discharged/exploded! What are the chances of:1. Getting this...- ou812
