    thanks....lots of great ideas here. I will check it out closer this weekend, or maybe Friday if I take the day off. I got a local buddy that wants the tranny so might be a bit of a decent sized pick on the car...lol
  3. 91 VR4 starts briefly and then dies. Car is mostly stock, and has repaired ecu

    car will not keep running, with throttle, full or anything in between.Yes, before firing it again I will drain out the fuel....not fun, but necessary in this day of ethanol gas.I will have to get the battery charged, and give it a go this weekend....

    I am not 100% sure its Kensington Grey, or black....was about dark when I saw it, and I didnt have a light. One or the other, and not sure if the bumper is nice or not. Pretty sure it hasnt been cut but will have to check it out.I will also get the VIN....

    I have not messed with my VR4 in a couple years, but need to get it running properly again. Had the ecu repaired, as it had cap leakage issues. Now, even when swapping with a known good ecu, the car will fire right up, but then die in a few seconds. I am thinking that the fuel shuts off, or...

    Hey all....went to the local u-pull it yard last Saturday, and lo and behold....a 1991 Galant VR4. The dash plaque was gone, so I do not know the number of the car. They must have just gotten it, as very little has been removed from the car. It looked like a passenger side guardrail type...

    thanks guys for the input...will be sending the ecu to Terry for him to check out and possibly fix. I will also check out the isc on this car, and see if it needs replaced...guessing it might....and I have a couple lying around....thanks, Jeff
