  3. FS: Used MBD081U Exedy Clutch/flywheel $50

Just pulled this out of my car yesterday and was surprised to find it had a new clutch in it. I don't know the exact mileage on it but it looks to be in pretty decent shape and I had no issues shifting with it. I'd like to get $50 for it with the flywheel.
  4. Finally pulled my engine and...

I finally got around to pulling the old engine out of my car; which I thought and was told was the original engine only to find out it is in fact a reman. I'm curious if anyone by chance would know where someone even got this engine from by the plate on it, I tried doing some research and...
  5. WTB: VR4/JDM Valve Cover

Found out my valve cover is cracked and had been JB welded by the previous owner so I am looking to find a replacement cover for it. It needs to be a "JDM" Mitsubishi cover with no cracks or stripped bolt holes. Cosmetically as long as it isn't all nicked up I don't care since it will be...

I just started the process of stripping down my car for my rebuild and wanted to offer anyone who is interested the stock parts for free (just pay the shipping). Here is what I have so far and if there is anything engine/fuel related you are looking for let me know as it is all getting pulled out.
  9. FS: PET 6157DSM or PTE 6262 t4 500 and 750 respectively

I was looking to get around $125 shipped for it...I just paid a little over $245 after shipping for my v-band in/out housing. I'm open to offers on it though, it came with the turbo and I have no interest in ever using it.
  10. FS: PET 6157DSM or PTE 6262 t4 500 and 750 respectively

Not to hijack your sale but if you are looking for a DSM hotside for a 6262 I have a brand new one I am trying to get rid of. Let me know if you would be interested in it. click
  11. Project Super Sleeper just got an exhaust cut out! (VIDEO)

I had one of these on my skittle but it never would seal right or stop when it fully closed. I ended up just driving it around with the block off plate unbolted sounding like a diesel truck. I'm half tempted to try another one on my Galant but considering I'm going with an all aluminum...
  12. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

That kind of got put on the back burner for now. I've too much other work to do on it to worry about what color it is. If I end up doing anything with it I more than likely will do a vinyl wrap.
  13. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

This build is turning into a parts collection in my kitchen but getting closer to getting it together- manifold is getting finished once my new hotside shows up and from there I can finally start stripping the car down.PTE 6262 BB

Well that certainly makes me sad.
  15. Fuel Cell

I need to replace the entire fuel system on my car from the tank to injectors and was curious as to what you guys had to suggest as far as a tank goes. Range and size really isn't an issue to me and right now I was looking at click . Anyone have one or know if they fit our cars? Any other...

  19. FS: PTE 62 trim DSM & T4 housing

It is on a PTE 6262 so a 62mm inducer compressor wheel and a 62mm, 76 trim turbine wheel
  20. Plasti-dip

I've seen good and bad paint jobs with that stuff...most of the ones I see have a ton of runs but I've seen a few good ones. I think it is mainly for a car you want to paint but don't want to lose resell value on. I wouldn't use it as a permanent paint job but I really can't say anything...
  21. FS: PTE 62 trim DSM & T4 housing

I have a brand new PTE 62 trim Mitsubishi housing for sale. I'd be interested in trading for a v-band housing or just selling it outright. I'm not really sure what these go for and the only pricing I've been able to find is $230 so I'd be happy with $175 or best offer.
  22. Anyone using ebay cam gears?

I picked up a set of HKS gears new in the box off ebay awhile back for $150. I just looked though and the guy who was selling them is no longer a member so I'm going to assume he's in some sort of Russian dungeon by now.
  23. Front Case Bolt Length/Size

I know one of them is M10...I was just going to pull the bolts out of my old block to compare but I haven't yanked it out yet : |
  24. When the fuel line cracks doing a fuel pump upgrade you.( lots of pics)

I feel your pain, this was the sending unit from my Montero...they are pretty similar and impossible to bloody find. I ended up drilling the old lines out a bit and bending in new ones and just sealing them with solder. Put on about 3 coats of bed liner on it and bolted it back up. It has...
  25. Front Case Bolt Length/Size

I'm curious if anyone has or knows where I can find a list of all of the bolt sizes that go in the front case, water pump housing and oil filter housing. I've found lengths but the diagrams I've seen don't list the sizes and I know at least one of them is a different thread size. I know I can...
  26. custom shift knob groupbuy, anyone?

If you do just VR-4 you might be able to get a few guys with 3Ks to buy a few too.
  27. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

Yeah he did them, he had them up on his facebook.
  28. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

Those Volks were from 1996 so 16 years of use didn't leave the original powder coat in the best of shape. Sorry I worded that a bit weird, I was referring to the paint color of the car- the original paint is still pretty good but I was just tossing the idea around as a friend who owns a body...
  29. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

    they should be clickable thumbnails?
  30. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

Got my rims back from powdercoat the other day and figured I'd post up a picture of them. Now I need to pick out a new paint color for it to match them. On the fence between Platinum White Pearl or Glacier Frost Mica...anyone have any thoughts between the two? Also picked up a twin-disc...
  31. FS: Bride Cuga Reclinable seats with custom seat rail

Haha I just realized you are the same guy I bought the Volks from....shoot me some more photos if you would to my email [email protected]
  32. Critique my setup

I think the only real issue I had getting rid of mine is pressing in the one bearing that is back in the middle of the block....other than that it is easy peasy
  33. FS: Bride Cuga Reclinable seats with custom seat rail

Do you have any pictures from the side? Mainly a close-up of the recliner dial?
  34. FS: ARP 6-bolt Head Studs NIB $75

I picked up a set of L19s so I will no longer need these. Brand new in the box still in the shrink wrap. Looking to get $75.00 for these.
  35. Ring Gaps

Quoting Brianawd: I gapped my Arias at .019top .024 bottom and I used a 4.5tho Piston to wall clearance.Going by their specs on their website that sounds about right...what kind of boost are you running?
  36. Ring Gaps

I'll have to check with them, they may have come with some paperwork that wasn't given to me but hard to say. Thanks.
  37. Ring Gaps

I'm going to stay below 30 but I'd imagine mid 20s as far as boost goes.
  38. Ring Gaps

Block was done .020 over and the rings I assume came with the pistons which are Arias. I bought the block already prepped with the parts still in the boxes. The rings were in with the pistons so I haven't a clue what brand they are if they didn't come with them but Arias usually come with a set.
  39. Ring Gaps

I'm just curious as to what sort of ring gaps other people are running on their builds. My FSM lists the following for gaps:Ring 1: .20-.80mm Ring 2: .45-.80mm Oil Ring: .20-1.00mmMy ring 1 is right at .254mm but ring 2 is running even closer than that and my oil ring is almost...
  40. FS: PTT twin, Tilton twin, ACT clutch, Fluidampr, ksports, and more!

What plates are in the PTT clutch? High torque or standard?
  41. SOLD: 4G63T 2.0L Fully built

Pretty similar to what I have sitting in my kitchen getting built. We differed a bit on the valve train though. I have to ask, where did you get that front timing cover from? The OEM one I ordered is grey or did you just paint that one?
  42. FS: Helical Cut Oil Pump Gears

The straight-cut gears will give you higher oil pressure at the expensive of being louder.
  43. FS: Helical Cut Oil Pump Gears

I have a brand new set of helical gears that I pulled out of a new front plate to swap out for straight-cut. Mitsubishi sells them new for $80 plus shipping a pair so I figure $40 or best offer if anyone is interested in them.
  44. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

    S362 with a billet wheel
  45. The gradual build of 33 of 1000

Figured I'd post up a thread of my build that I've recently started. Parts are slowly rolling in and I hope to get the engine pulled out this winter to pop the new one in.Fresh off the truck after purchasing the carFront struts were shot when I got it so threw a set of K-Sports on...

  47. Oil Filter Bracket Assembly Part #

Does anyone have the proper Mitsubishi part number for our bracket assembly? MASA lists MD143505 but I've also seen MD157670 listed. Anyone know the difference?
  48. Finding 35mm Brass Core Plugs

Does anyone know of a source of 35mm brass core plugs? Everyone local only carries standard sized brass plugs and only steel in 35mm. I've only managed to find one website (partsdinosaur) that carries them in that size but shipping is pretty expensive so if anyone knows of anywhere else that...
  49. FS: JDM Clusters, WINGS, Bumper, Door cladding, FOGLIGHT, Taillights *PICS*

I'd be interested in the side clips for the rear bumper if you still have them. There should be a metal bracket on each side that hold it to the rear quarter panels. Mine are rusted out and I can't get them from Mitsubishi anymore.
  50. Yet another new owner here 32/1000

Oye you beat me by one number
